Connect the Telematics SDK via Flespi

The Telematics SDK connects to fleet and transportation platforms through Flespi, a universal IoT hub that translates between device protocols and platform APIs. Flespi acts as a bridge — the SDK streams data to Flespi, and Flespi delivers it to your fleet platform in the format it expects.

This approach works for platforms that require a gateway or specific protocol translation. For platforms that accept direct connections, the SDK can also stream data to your endpoint without an intermediary.

Generate a Virtual IMEI

Each smartphone running the SDK receives a virtual IMEI — a unique device identifier that your fleet platform uses to recognize it as a tracking unit. The virtual IMEI works exactly like a hardware tracker’s IMEI: your platform registers it, assigns it to a vehicle or driver, and starts receiving data.

Stream Data Directly to Your Endpoint

Once configured, the SDK streams location data directly to your fleet platform’s endpoint — bypassing Damoov’s servers entirely. Configuration is delivered to the SDK over the air, and the data flows straight from the smartphone to your infrastructure. From your platform’s perspective, it looks and behaves like a standard telematics device.

Configure Tracking Parameters
